Our big day

October 5 was a big day for us, making our first public appearance as the Perthshire Care and Wellbeing Co-op at the Perth and Kinross Wellbeing Festival at Dewar House in Perth.  Eight of our founder members were on hand to answer questions, and Fiona absent only because she was busy in her capacity as a carer.

Our new website grew before our eyes, as Louise Copeland of  Blairgowrie-based Great Little Brands worked on it throughout the day.  And the fragrance of herbs and flowers brought from Leila’s patch in Kirkmichael and Anneke’s bio-dynamic garden near Aberfeldy drew many people to investigate further…

“What was that beautiful fresh-harvested vegetable?” Kohlrabi. “What about that unusual herb?”  The Native-American Black Cohosh, with medicinal roots.

We will be in Pitlochry  on Wednesday, October 7, and launch officially at the AK Bell Library on Thursday (9am-4.30pm)  in the AK Bell Library in Perth.  A busy week, but very exciting…

We’re off!
