“Thanks to the Care and Wellbeing CIC for the opportunity to take part in the excellent Goal Setting Course which was offered to Members. It was a brilliant opportunity, and it has benefitted me hugely both in terms of my ability to provide my services as a self-employed Caregiver, and personally in terms of my own health and wellbeing.”
6. JOIN A FORTHCOMING EVENT
The Care and Wellbeing community member meetings and events are held on a monthly basis and we share details in our newsletter and on social media. Our friendly and welcoming meetings and events provide an opportunity to get to know other practitioners who offer a range of services to support client needs. They are open and extended to any practitioners who work alone and who want to meet and connect with others. There will be an opportunity to network with members of the Care and Wellbeing CIC to find out more about how the organisation can help with training, signposting and other support.
To sign up for our newsletter, please email Corrie Watson email@example.com
Recent learning topics have included goal setting, social prescribing and building resilience.
7. ABOUT THE CARE AND WELLBEING CIC
We are here to offer a fresh and innovative approach to care and wellbeing in rural Perth and Kinross.
The Care and Wellbeing CIC is an inclusive community with a shared vision of professional cooperation, service, and support, both for our clients and each another. The CIC has grown from a solid values base which all members sign up to. These guiding principles underpin our approach to supporting and helping people - Professional, Person Centred, Inclusive, Fair, Locally based, Caring and Innovative.
We help to provide a voice for the sector, representing members at local, regional and national levels. We also assist members to navigate the system through which care services are arranged, providing support and building a strong network.
8. UPHOLDING OUR VALUES
On joining, all Members are required to sign up to the Care and Wellbeing CIC Code of Standards and Values. In doing so, a formal pledge is undertaken to abide by the CIC values and guiding principles that underpin our approach to supporting, helping and interacting with all people. The standards and values include Confidentiality, Professionalism, a Caring, Personalised and Inclusive Approach, Fairness, Locally based services and Innovation.
The Code of Standards and Values provides one of the benchmarks by which the CIC administers its’ Feedback and Complaints Policy. This policy upholds the aim of the CIC to provide an assurance of good quality services, supports and interactions with clients, community groups, partners, other organisations and is also applicable to internal relations between CIC directors, members and employees.
